Evaluation question 4: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Evaluation Question 3: what did you learn from your audience feedback?

After finishing my video and posting it to YouTube i created an only survey on survey monkey.com. I have done this so that i can analyse them to see what people think of our video. Here are the results.

Q1 Are you male or female?
When analysing the results i found that it was split half and half between male and females who took my survey. This makes it better for us because we get to see equal responses from males and females so we get fair results.

Q2 How old are you?
When i looked at the results for this question all of the people that took the surveys apart from two are in the 16 - 25 group. This is good because that is the our target age group but it would have been god to get a wider range of ages so that we could see what everybody else thought of it.

Q3 Did you enjoy our music video?
As the results show, only one person said that they didnt like he video.  I will take this as a success because there is no music or music video that everybody will like so i think to only have one person dislike it is good.

Q4 What part of the music video did you enjoy the most?
In response to this question i received a wide range of answers which is brilliant.  this is good because it shows that it is not just one thing in particular that is good in our video but a wide range of things instead, which is what we aimed for. One response that popup a couple times was that they enjoyed the fast pace editing. This is very good to hear because that is something that we tried very hared to do.

Q5 What rating would you give the video out of 10?
I take this response as positive because other than that one person that doesnt like the video and rated it a 3, everybody else rated it 7 and above.

Q6 Do you think the music matches the video?
Everybody said that the music does match the video which is good because it means that our video does make sense to people and that we made it correctly.

Q7 Do you think the video could appear on a music channel?
This question received a mixed response where some said yes, some said no and some said maybe.  We could of improved these responses by putting a range of music channels in the question so that people could of suggested what channel our video would have suited.

Q8 How do you rate the lip synching in the video?
Everybody who responded to the video said that they rate the lip synching 8 and above which is very good as we tried really hard to make it perfect.

Q9 How would you rate the actors performance?
Finally, this is another positive response as only one person didnt give a rating of above 8. This is good to see as we put a lot of effort in to try and make it look realistic.

I also created a wallwisher to get some further audience feedback.

The results of this are very help full as we have ben given some positive and some negative feedback.

Overall i believe that our video has been well received by our audience which is good to hear.  I would of liked to get a wider range of feedback, so if i was to do it again i would put it across to a wider range of ages.
