Some videos do not conform to the regular conventions but they follow there own conventions. For example 'Come to Daddy' by Aphex Twin, this is not a song that follows the usual conventions but it does follow the conventions for its genre.  the videos are designed to shock you and even scare you in some cases and purposely made to be weird.
