In the focus group people said that our song reminded them of "Vampire Weekend" and "Scouting for girls" so i have been looking at some of their videos, analysing them and trying to get some ideas.
Firstly i looked at some vampire weekend videos. the good thing about their videos and songs are that they are fast passed and up beat like our song. however the theme behind the song seem to be very different to ours so we will not be able to follow that for some ideas but in the video 'Cousins' there is very good editing to the beat which we would like to do in our video.
Finally i looked at some 'scouting for girls' videos and i noticed that like our song there is a common boy girl theme and usualy showing a problem between them which is also very similar to our song. The differences are that the speed of the songs are very different.
If we were to use both bands when creating our video then we could have good mini narratives and vey fast editing to the beat and hopefully create a very effective music video.
